Some method of digital real-time capture of you working that can be played back by a normal video/youtube player, or by some special player with a VCR interface. (VLC, a free video player that supports a jillion formats, is my choice.)<br /><br />Review yourself working perhaps a week or month after the fact, and make notes that criticize where you're spending too much time, and ponder why and think about how those can be shortened.
